This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Perch Group Limited & its trading subsidiaries have taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our business or supply chains.

The Group has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and requires companies across our extended supply chain to understand and meet our expectations on anti-bribery, corruption, legal compliance and ethical conduct.

  1. Organisational Structure

Perch Group Limited is a debt purchase and collection business, operating in the UK with approximately 350 employees. Our supply chains include:

  1. Our workforce and our supply chain

Most of our Group employees are UK-based managerial office staff or field based reconnection agents and are paid at least the National Living Wage. We believe there is a low risk of human slavery or forced labour in our direct workforce.

The risk may be more significant in our supply chain and we have therefore focused on enhancing our approach in relation to our supply chain as noted below.

  1. Policy Commitment

We are committed to preventing modern slavery within our operations and supply chains. Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy reflects our zero-tolerance approach and ethical commitment.

  1. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We assess potential risks in outsourced services, recruitment, and overseas suppliers. Mitigation steps include supplier due diligence, requiring compliance, contract clauses, and monitoring.

  1. Training and Awareness

Staff receive training to recognise and report modern slavery. Awareness is supported through inductions, communications, and supplier engagement.

  1. Whistleblowing and Reporting Concerns

Procedures exist for confidential reporting of concerns through HR or whistleblowing lines. All concerns are investigated and acted upon.

  1. Effectiveness and Performance Indicators

We monitor staff training, supplier due diligence checks, and reported concerns to measure effectiveness.

  1. Future Steps

In the next financial year, we will strengthen supplier audits, enhance training, and review policies to maintain robust protection against modern slavery.
