Group B2B Marketing & Communications Executive

 

Location: Manchester, with ability to travel to Skipton or Blackpool office based (some degree of home working in line with the Group Office Working Policy)

 

Salary: £30k per annum plus bonus & benefits

North of England-based Perch Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing and most dynamic credit management companies, is looking for an ambitious, switched-on, highly engaged B2B marketeer, preferably with experience in the financial services sector. The new role offers the opportunity to shape a marketing strategy and function from the ground up with the support of an industry-leading business development team. This is an exciting time to join a successful, entrepreneurial business as a key member of the team with excellent progression potential.

 

You will need to be able to spot a story and be adept at producing professionally written content tailored to our unique tone of voice, utilising channels like LinkedIn and email marketing to get our key messages out our lender and other creditor clients. You’ll have a track record of amplifying content to niche B2B audiences – and you won’t be afraid of hard work, which is well rewarded.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and services across the Group.
  • Create and manage content for digital and print marketing materials, including social media (predominantly LinkedIn), website, newsletters, brochures, and advertisements (with the support of a professional designer where required).
  • Maximise opportunities for and optimum reach of trade media coverage.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the company’s social media presence, including content creation, posting schedules, and engagement with followers.
  • Plan and execute events, trade shows, hospitality and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and report on marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
  • Manage CRM tool (Monday) and ensure contact data is updated as required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, English or other related qualification.
  • At least three years professional B2B marketing experience, including communications/content development.
  • Basic knowledge/understanding of the Financial Services industry and the debt purchase/recovery business model, preferably with some direct sector experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management, email marketing software, design tools like Canva, and relevant AI tools.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas for campaigns and content.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to measure the success of marketing efforts.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques.

Project Delivery Lead

 

Location: Blackpool, Skipton (Hybrid)
Department: Project Delivery
Reports to: Head of Delivery

 

Role Overview:

 

As a Project Delivery Lead at Perch Group, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of multiple, concurrent projects within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as expertise in Continuous Improvement. Ideally, you will have experience in debt collection or financial services industries, working closely with demanding stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
The role is hybrid, with the opportunity to work from both the Blackpool and Skipton offices. The successful candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional teams, building strong relationships, and driving continuous improvement within the project delivery process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Delivery:
    Lead the full life cycle of multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes from initiation to closure across various business functions.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing their expectations and delivering on key objectives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Agile & Waterfall Methodologies:
    Apply both Agile and Waterfall frameworks to manage projects, adapting the methodology to best fit the project’s needs. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies in processes and implementing solutions to enhance project delivery and team performance.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken when needed to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
  • Resource Management:
    Effectively manage resources across multiple projects, ensuring the right team members are assigned to tasks and that workloads are balanced to optimise project success.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight:
    Monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the financial objectives of the business.
  • Benefits Management:
    Ensuring benefits are understood, documented, owned and realised within the delivery lifecycle.
  • Change Management:
    Lead and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes or systems within projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with technical and business teams to align project goals with strategic business objectives, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met.

Required Skills and Experience:

 

  • Proven Experience in Debt Collection or Financial Services Industry:
    Experience within the debt collection sector is highly desirable, with an understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment in which Perch Group operates.
  • Strong Agile and Waterfall Methodology Knowledge:
    Demonstrated experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall approaches, with the ability to tailor project management methodologies to suit business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset:
    Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and enhancing team performance.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Demonstrated ability to manage demanding stakeholders, balancing priorities while maintaining effective communication and ensuring alignment with business goals.

    Experience delivering multiple end-to-end projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong Leadership Skills:

  • Business Problem Solving & Opportunity Identification:
    A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and solve business-related challenges, as well as uncover new opportunities for growth or efficiency. Qualifications:
