Junior Software Configuration Analyst

 

 

Role Overview

 

Perch Group houses data-driven services spanning the entire debt lifecycle, including BPO services, debt collection, debt purchase, reconnection, and litigation services. Working as part of the Operational Transformation team, you will be managing configuration changes to our internal systems, ensuring they are planned and delivered in the agreed timelines.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To manage configuration changes to Financial Cloud based on business requirements
  • To manage configuration changes to Lateral based on business requirements
  • To work effectively with the business to develop requirements documentation and obtain approval from business owners
  • Plan and deliver configuration changes within agreed deadlines
  • Template creation, new/edited data fields, Pages Customisation, Rules Engine Management, Workflows, Callflows
  • Provide configuration support based on changing business needs
  • Carry out analysis, impact assessment, design, development, and testing
  • Make config changes in accordance with company standards and the agreed delivery framework
  • Recommend config improvements to the business for their review
  • Analyse and resolve config issues in a timely manner
  • Liaise with other IT personnel, operational Group Team Leaders and third parties.
  • Participation in projects as required

  • Peer review
  • Customer review/feedback
  • QA activity – pre and post deployment of change to Production environment
  • Adherence to company standards and agreed change delivery framework
  • Consistency of Configuration: Regular checks to ensure environments (development, testing, production) are configured identically.
  • Accuracy of Version Control: Track the frequency of issues related to incorrect configuration being deployed or managed.
  • Regular feedback from development, testing, and operations teams regarding the effectiveness of communication.
